Thurber’s Locations

Prince George

Our Prince George office is a new addition to Thurber. Formerly GeoNorth Engineering, Prince George joined Thurber in 2023 but the office has been operating since 1982. Today, the office consists of approximately 30 geotechnical engineers and technologists and serves the northern half of British Columbia. The team provides geotechnical engineering, advanced lab services, and materials testing for clients including the forestry and mining industries, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, pipeline clients, Indigenous Services Canada, and construction contractors.

Prince George is surrounded by nature and has hundreds of kilometers of mountain bike and cross country ski trails.

Land acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the land on which our Prince George office sits is on the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation.
