MacEwan University City Centre Campus named a "Top 25 Remediation Project"

Our 30+ years of work supporting the growth of MacEwan University's City Centre Campus has been recognized! The Environment Journal recently announced its "Top 25 Remediation Projects" - and we're honored to see our name on the list.

Edmonton's MacEwan University sits on the site of a former railyard that incurred extensive contamination. Thurber has been working for MacEwan University since 1989 to remediate the former railyard and provide geotechnical and materials services for new buildings on the campus.

What makes this project unique from other remediation projects is the long-standing and dedicated relationship between Thurber and MacEwan University. The 30-year relationship continues to this day. Currently, the Thurber team is conducting assessment and remediation between 104th Ave and 106th Ave to support upcoming buildings.
