Health & Safety

Thurber considers the personal health and safety of all our employees to be of primary importance. We are committed to maintaining a Health and Safety program that is founded on the prevention of occupationally induced injuries, illnesses and property loss. We consider this aspect of our business as important as production, quality and cost control.

We are committed to providing necessary training; conducting hazard assessments before starting any work; providing all employees with approved personal protective equipment; purchasing and properly maintaining tools, equipment and facilities; conducting formal and informal inspections to find and correct unsafe acts and conditions; and investigating all incidents promptly and thoroughly with the objective of preventing re-occurrence.

We treat all matters related to health and safety with a positive attitude during our daily activities.
