Marketing and Proposal Coordinator (20240080754)
Overview
Thurber has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Thurber provides geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering and testing services for a variety of industries across Canada. Our multidisciplinary expertise allows us to work on problems related to earth, the environment and construction materials. We solve problems in a wide variety of industries including transportation, building construction, municipal infrastructure, land development, dams and water resources, industrial development, mining, oil and gas, marine and environmental services.
Responsibilities
- Support proposal responses including helping gather information, managing and maintaining correspondence, and ensuring proposal compliance including proofreading, editing, and putting together an eye-catching final submission;
- Create and maintain proposal templates;
- Create and maintain personnel resumes;
- Develop marketing materials including presentations, project summary sheets, advertisements, and brochures;
- Create and implement communications that highlight our people, projects, and expertise both for internal use and for the website and social media;
- Administrative support as needed; and,
- This role supports both our Vancouver office and our Corporate Communications team.
Qualifications and Assets
- Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, English, or similar;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Experience working with Powerpoint and Microsoft Word;
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and basic graphic design skills is an asset; and,
- Demonstrated experience supporting the proposal process is an asset.
Base Salary Range
- $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on a 40-hour work week.
- The posted wage range for this position represents the range for the experience and qualifications noted in this posting.
- The offered wage may be adjusted upward for candidates whose qualifications and experience exceed those expressed in this posting.
- Candidates with less experience and qualifications may be considered at a reduced starting wage.
