Victoria Convention Centre
This beautiful facility was built as an addition to the majestic Empress Hotel (background). A recent expansion has added the former Crystal Garden structure across the street (foreground). Richmond Olympic Oval
The Oval was constructed near the bank of the Fraser River on very thick deposits of loose sand and compressible silt.
